7 were killed in fire at a steelmaker plant in China’s Inner Mongolia

In a statement, the local emergency management department reported in Monday morning, seven people were killed in Bao Gang United Steel plant after a fire broke out in the venue in the Inner Mongolia region of China.
Thông báo cho biết vụ việc được xác nhận là một tai nạn trong quá trình bảo trì tại một cơ sở khử lưu huỳnh dạng viên do Tập đoàn Guoshun điều hành thuộc nhà máy thép.
The case was confirmed to be an accident during maintenance at a Guoshun Group-operated pellet desulphurization facility belonging to the steelmaker, it said.

The cause of the incident, the authority said is still being investigated, but, whether operation and production at the facility would be halted has been still unclear, according to the local government. On the project, there is a pellet capacity of five million tonnes every year, the statement disclosed.
