Cuba kicks off Covid-19 vaccine exports to Vietnam
Vào ngày 25 tháng 9, Cuba cho biết vắc xin Abdala ngừa coronavirus với 3 mũi của họ đã được xuất khẩu lần đầu tiên sang Việt Nam sau khi gửi một lô hàng đầu tiên đến nước này như một phần của hợp đồng với 5 triệu liều.
Cuba said on Sept 25, its three-shot Abdala coronavirus vaccine had been exported to Vietnam for the first time, sending an initial shipment to the country as part of a five million doses contract.
Hiện 3 loại vắc xin phòng bệnh Covid-19 do Cuba sản xuất trong nước đang chờ được Tổ chức Y tế Thế giới công nhận chính thức.
Currently, three home-grown vaccines against Covid-19 of Cuba are waiting to receive official recognition from the World Health Organization.
Thông báo xuất khẩu vào hôm thứ Bảy trên Twitter được tập đoàn dược phẩm nhà nước BioCubaFarma đưa ra sau khi tuyên bố vào đầu tuần này, họ đã sản xuất đủ liều để đáp ứng mục tiêu của Cuba là tiêm chủng cho hơn 90% dân số trong nước vào giữa tháng 11.
Saturday's export announcement on Twitter was made by State-run pharmaceutical corporation BioCubaFarma after claiming earlier this week it had produced enough doses to meet Cuba’s target to immunize more than 90 percent of the local population by mid-November.
BioCubaFarma cho biết họ có khả năng sản xuất hàng năm 100 triệu liều vắc xin Abdala, Soberana 2 và Soberana Plus. Nhờ tỷ lệ tiêm chủng cao, quốc gia này cho biết gần đây đã giảm khoảng 90% nguy cơ bị bệnh nặng hoặc tử vong do coronavirus.
BioCubaFarma said it has the annual capacity to produce 100 million doses of the Abdala, Soberana 2, and Soberana Plus vaccines. Thanks to its high vaccination rates, the country said recently reduced by about 90 percent the risk of becoming seriously ill or dying from the coronavirus.

Trong khi Iran đang sản xuất vắc xin Soberana-2 của Cuba, thì Việt Nam, Argentina và Mexico cho biết họ hy vọng sẽ sớm sản xuất vắc xin Cuba. Thuốc của Cuba đã được sử dụng ở một số quốc gia trong phác đồ điều trị Covid-19.
While Iran is already producing the Cuban Soberana-2 vaccine, Vietnam, Argentina and Mexico said they hope to produce the Cuban vaccines soon. Cuban drugs have been used in several countries in their Covid-19 treatment protocols.
