Lần đầu tiên trong mùa hè này, Hà Nội ghi nhận nhiệt độ 40 độ C vào ngày hôm qua.
For the first time this summer Hanoi recorded temperatures of 40 degrees Celsius yesterday.
Theo nhà cung cấp dịch vụ dự báo của Mỹ AccuWeather cho biết nhiệt độ dự kiến sẽ dao động ở mức 37-38 độ cho đến thứ Sáu trước khi hạ nhiệt xuống khoảng 32 độ trong những ngày cuối tuần và nửa đầu tuần tới.
The temperature is expected to hover at 37-38 degrees until Friday before it cool down to around 32 degrees during the weekends and the first half of next week, according to U.S. forecast services provider AccuWeather.

Ông Nguyễn Văn Hưởng, trưởng bộ phận dự báo khí hậu, cho biết nắng nóng gay gắt do một vùng áp thấp từ phía tây và gió foehn gây ra, duy trì mức nhiệt độ ổn định trên 35 độ C trong tối đa 19 giờ một ngày.
Nguyen Van Huong, head of its climate forecasting division, said the searing heat is being caused by a low-pressure area from the west and the foehn wind, which keep temperatures consistently above 35 degrees Celsius for up to 19 hours a day.
Ông cho biết thêm nắng nóng dự kiến sẽ kéo dài trong ba ngày tới.
The heat is expected to persist for the next three days, he added.
