Hue to develop textile and garment IZ
Tỉnh miền Trung Thừa Thiên - Huế sẽ xúc tiến đầu tư các dự án tập trung sản xuất nguyên phụ liệu, vải, sợi, da giày tại khu công nghiệp (KCN) chuyên ngành dệt may.
The central province of Thua Thien-Hue will promote investment in projects focusing on producing raw materials, fabrics, fibers, leather, and footwear at an industrial zone (IZ) dedicated to the textile and garment sector.

Đây là một phần trong kế hoạch hành động của Ủy ban nhân dân tỉnh Thừa Thiên-Huế nhằm thực hiện nghị quyết của Chính phủ về phát triển ngành công nghiệp hỗ trợ ở Việt Nam.
This is part of an action plan by the People’s Committee of Thua Thien-Hue Province to implement the Government’s resolution on growing the supporting industry in Vietnam.
Khu công nghiệp này sẽ là nơi tập trung các dự án sản xuất phụ kiện may mặc như cúc áo, dây kéo, dây thun cũng như các phụ tùng của ngành dệt may như lược, cuộn dây, máy khâu chân, máy cắt. Đến năm 2025, các doanh nghiệp trên địa bàn tỉnh có khả năng sản xuất trên 150.000 tấn sợi và trên 45 triệu mét vải / năm.
The IZ will be home to projects aimed at making garment accessories such as buttons, zippers, elastic bands as well as spare parts of the textile and garment industry such as combs, wire rods, foot sewing machines, and cutting machines. By 2025, enterprises in the province will be able to produce over 150,000 tons of yarn and over 45 million meters of fabric a year.
Kế hoạch hành động này tập trung vào việc thúc đẩy phát triển công nghiệp hỗ trợ trong các ngành may mặc-da giày, nhựa và cao su và điện tử.
This action plan concentrates on boosting the development of the supporting industry in apparel-footwear, plastic and rubber, and electronics industries.

Riêng nguyên phụ liệu hỗ trợ cho ngành dệt may của tỉnh đến năm 2025 có thể đạt 75%.
Supporting materials for the textile and garment industry in the province, in particular, can reach 75% till 2025.
Để đạt được mục tiêu này, UBND tỉnh đã kiến nghị Bộ Kế hoạch và Đầu tư xin Thủ tướng Chính phủ cho phép xây dựng KCN mới với diện tích 400 ha tại huyện Phong Điền để thu hút các dự án đầu tư ngành dệt may.
To achieve this goal, the Provincial People’s Committee has proposed that the Ministry of Planning and Investment ask the Prime Minister for permission to build a new IZ covering 400 hectares in Phong Dien District to attract textile and garment investment projects.
Ngoài ra, tỉnh miền trung này đã đề nghị Chính phủ đầu tư nhà máy xử lý nước thải tập trung chất lượng cao sử dụng công nghệ xử lý nước thải tuần hoàn tại KCN.
Besides, the central province has asked the Government to invest in a high-quality concentrated wastewater treatment plant using circulating wastewater treatment technology at the IZ.

Tính đến nay, các KCN trên địa bàn tỉnh Thừa Thiên - Huế đang có 16 dự án sản xuất sợi với tổng công suất tổng hợp hàng năm khoảng 108.800 tấn và tổng vốn đầu tư đăng ký khoảng 9.042 tỷ đồng. Có 15 dự án may mặc được cấp phép với tổng vốn đầu tư đăng ký khoảng 2.530 tỷ đồng và 432,5 triệu sản phẩm / năm.
Up to now, the IZs in Thua Thien-Hue is currently home to 16 projects of yarn production with an annual combined capacity of some 108,800 tons and a total registered investment capital of some VND9,042 billion. There are 15 licensed garment and fabric projects with total registered investment capital of some VND2,530 billion and 432.5 million products a year.
