Vingroup, tập đoàn tư nhân lớn nhất Việt Nam, vừa công bố kế hoạch cho công ty con VinSmart tạm dừng sản xuất ti vi và điện thoại thông minh để chủ yếu tập trung phát triển các sản phẩm điện tử và các linh kiện khác cho ô tô VinFast.
Vingroup, Vietnam’s largest private conglomerate, has unveiled plans for its subsidiary VinSmart to halt the manufacturing of televisions and smartphones in order to primarily concentrate on developing electronic products and other components for VinFast cars.
Sự thay đổi chiến lược được cho là để hoàn thành mục tiêu của VinFast là trở thành một trong những nhà sản xuất ô tô điện thông minh và tiện lợi nhất thế giới.
The strategic shift is said to fulfill VinFast’s goal of becoming one of the world’s smartest and most convenient electric car manufacturers.
Ông Nguyễn Việt Quang, Phó Chủ tịch kiêm Tổng Giám đốc Vingroup, cho rằng động thái này là do mảng sản xuất điện thoại thông minh và TV hiện tại của công ty không còn mang tính đột phá hay tạo ra giá trị riêng cho khách hàng.
Nguyen Viet Quang, vice chairman and CEO of Vingroup, attributed the move to the fact that the firm’s current production of smartphones and TVs is no longer seeing breakthroughs or creating unique values for customers.
Ông nhấn mạnh, sự phát triển của ô tô thông minh, nhà thông minh, thậm chí cả thành phố thông minh được dự đoán sẽ mang lại hàng loạt lợi ích và trải nghiệm vượt trội cho người dùng. Công ty hiện đang rất quyết tâm huy động mọi nguồn lực sẵn có để đẩy mạnh sản xuất ô tô VinFast như một biện pháp hiện thực hóa các mục tiêu này.
He emphasized that the development of smart cars, smart homes, and even smart cities is anticipated to bring about a range of benefits and outstanding experiences for users. The company is now highly determined to mobilize all available resources in order to bolster the manufacturing of VinFast cars as a means of realizing these targets.
Theo kế hoạch mới, công ty sẽ tập trung vào phát triển các tính năng thông tin giải trí trong xe hơi và xe hơi thông minh. Tổng cộng, khoảng 150 tính năng sẽ mang đến những tiện ích độc đáo cho người dùng đồng thời tạo ra lợi thế cạnh tranh cho công ty khi tìm cách tạo dựng tên tuổi trên thị trường ô tô toàn cầu.
In line with the new plan, the company will focus on developing in-car infotainment and smart car features. In total, approximately 150 features will serve to offer unique utilities for users whilst simultaneously creating competitive advantages for the firm as it seeks to make a name for itself within the global automobile market.
Công ty cũng sẽ chuyển sang nghiên cứu, thiết kế và sản xuất các linh kiện điện tử, bên cạnh pin điện, hệ thống pin hoàn chỉnh và động cơ điện các loại vì nỗ lực nâng cao tỷ lệ nội địa hóa và đảm bảo nguồn cung cấp chất lượng cao cho VinFast.
The company will also turn to the research, design, and manufacturing of electronic components, in addition to battery cells, complete battery systems, and electric motors of all kinds as it strives to increase the localization rate and ensure a high-quality supply source for VinFast.
