Essay 1:
There is no doubt that technological advancements have a significant role in maintaining law and order in each country, especially in curbing and solving criminal issues. Therefore, there is a dramatic decline in the crime rate in some countries in this contemporary world. In my perspective, I completely agree that technology helps police officers detect illegal activities and raise public awareness in avoiding offenders.
It can easily be seen that each household has cameras and automatic sensors that have functions to detect any break-ins. Accordingly, culprits will be captured with ease regardless of hosts are at home or not. On top of that, the appearance of CCTV cameras and footprint machines will help polices record violent activities and even find out killers. A clear example is that based on cameras, investigators can recognize some features of a killer in a terrible murder. Then, other special characteristics will be seen clearer by using the footprint machine.
Another advantage of technological innovation in this modern world is dwellers will approach the necessary methods to protect their own information. To be more precise, it is obvious that everyone has at least one online account. It means that everyone’s personal information will be published on the Internet by bad hackers and cybercriminals for illegal goals. Therefore, it’s not formidable for police technicians to provide useful ways of securing personal information.
To sum up, the advantages of technical inventions that have been mentioned above are the persuasive explanation for the reduction of criminals nowadays.

Essay 2
There has been a significant decline in crime rate in society thanks to the rapid development of technology. In my view, technology has played an irreplaceable role in preventing and solving crime.
Technology has significantly reduced the rate by which theft crimes are committed in shops or even houses. Nowadays, for example, every shop in a shopping mall has a security system, comprising surveillance cameras and sensors, installed. This can help in the detection of any unusual activity in the surroundings as well as any strange behavior shown by customers. Hence, technology has further helped to preserve the shops' Items on display and additionally, deterred offenders from stealing valuable items and running away with it. Therefore, security cameras can be a very good example of how robbery offenses are diminishing as a result of technology. Similarly, in recent times, scientific methods and devices have been successfully used in solving crimes more efficiently. An ideal example would be the use of fingerprínting, DNA testing and lie detection technology in identifying culprits and bringing them to justice. These technologies have definitely discouraged many criminals from committing offenses. For instance, a study led by the University of Massachusetts found that US murder rates might have been three times higher today were it not for advances in communication and medical technologies.
In conclusion, I firmly believe that technology today has greatly revolutionized crime prevention and detection, which has resulted in the reduction of illegal activities in many parts of the world.
